When to Go?

Zimbabwe offers incredible wildlife and adventure experiences year-round, but the best time to visit depends on your travel priorities. The dry season (May to October) is ideal for safaris, as animals gather at water sources in Hwange and Mana Pools, making sightings more frequent. Victoria Falls is most dramatic from February to May, right after the rainy season, when the Zambezi River is at full flow. The green season (November to April) brings lush landscapes, excellent birdwatching, and fewer crowds, though some remote areas may be harder to access due to rain.
