TERMS & CONDITIONS — TRAVELEAD TOURS

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all bookings made with Travelead (“we”, “us”, “our”), a tour operator based in Canada offering travel services and guided tours to destinations across Africa. All reservations are processed through our trusted travel partner: Suvara Travels Canada Inc. Suvara Travels is a registered Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) member and IATA approved.
By booking a tour, you (“you”, “client”, “traveller”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

1.1 Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only once Travelead has received the required deposit and issued a written confirmation invoice.
1.2 Price Accuracy
All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change due to currency fluctuations, supplier increases, airfare changes, government taxes, park fees, or other unexpected costs. You will be notified of any significant price adjustments prior to final payment.
1.3 Inclusions & Exclusions
Each tour itinerary will specify what is included (e.g., accommodation, transport, meals, guides) and excluded (e.g., visas, vaccinations, travel insurance, optional activities). You are responsible for reviewing these details prior to booking.
2.1 Deposit Requirements
A non-refundable deposit (amount listed on your itinerary or invoice) is required at the time of booking to secure your space.
2.2 Final Payment
Full payment is due no later than 60 days before departure, unless otherwise specified. Bookings made within 60 days of travel require full payment immediately.
2.3 Payment Methods
Payments may be made via credit card, bank transfer, or any method listed on your invoice. All bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the client.
2.4 Refunds & Credit
Deposits are non-refundable.
Refunds for cancellations (if applicable) will be processed within 30 days.
If the tour is cancelled by Travelead for reasons within our control, you will be offered a full refund or travel credit.
If a tour is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure), you may receive a partial refund, travel credit, or rescheduled dates depending on supplier policies.
Travel insurance covering cancellation is strongly recommended.
3.1 Client Cancellations
Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellation fees apply as follows unless otherwise noted on your itinerary:
More than 60 days before departure: Loss of deposit
31–60 days before departure: 50% of total tour cost
30 days or less before departure: 100% of total tour cost (no refund)
3.2 Non-Arrival or Early Departure
No refunds are offered for unused services, no-shows, late arrivals, or early departures from a tour.
3.3 Operator Cancellations
Travelead reserves the right to cancel any tour for reasons including insufficient enrolment, safety concerns, supplier issues, or unforeseeable events. Clients will be informed as soon as possible and offered a refund or alternative arrangements.
4.1 Client Responsibility
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date and contains sufficient blank pages.
4.2 Visa Requirements
Some African countries require visas that must be obtained before arrival or on arrival. Requirements vary by nationality. Travelead provides general guidance but is not responsible for obtaining visas on your behalf.
4.3 Entry Denial
No refunds will be provided if you are denied entry to any country due to incorrect documentation or failure to meet immigration requirements.
5.1 Mandatory Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, evacuation, lost baggage, and personal liability is strongly recommended and may be mandatory for certain tours.
5.2 Vaccinations & Health Precautions
You are responsible for obtaining all recommended vaccinations, malaria prophylaxis, and medical clearances required for travel to Africa. Travelead is not liable for any illness, injury, or medical expenses incurred during your trip.
6.1 Information We Collect
To process your booking, we may collect personal information including your name, contact details, passport details, dietary requirements, emergency contacts, and any health information you voluntarily provide.
6.2 How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to:
Process bookings and payments
Arrange travel services with third-party suppliers
Comply with legal requirements
Communicate important travel updates
6.3 Data Protection
Travelead stores your information securely and does not sell your data. We may share essential details with trusted third-party suppliers (e.g., hotels, airlines, tour guides) solely for the purpose of providing your travel services.
6.4 Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information in accordance with Canadian privacy laws.
7.1 Travel Risks
Tours to Africa involve inherent risks, including wildlife encounters, variable terrain, climate extremes, political instability, and limited infrastructure. By participating, you acknowledge these risks.
7.2 Limitation of Liability
Travelead is not liable for:
Acts or omissions of third-party suppliers
Delays, cancellations, or schedule changes
Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
Personal injury, illness, or death, unless caused by our negligence
7.3 Force Majeure
We are not responsible for any loss, delay, or cancellation caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, political unrest, or government restrictions.
Travelead reserves the right to modify itineraries, accommodation, transportation, or tour arrangements if necessary for safety, operational reasons, or unexpected circumstances. Equivalent alternatives will be provided where possible.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the applicable province in which Travelead operates. Any disputes shall be resolved in courts within that jurisdiction.
By booking a tour with Travelead, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
